Step by step
To register a new DATE case, click on 'Request DATE®' under the DATE tab in the menu.
Enter the necessary information and register the case by clicking on 'Register case':
- Select vessel
- Enter subject
- Enter question.
Our DATE Assistant will read your question as you type and propose matching FAQs to provide valuable information regarding your request.
You may also search for additional FAQs below the proposed FAQs.
- Add attachments, as applicable
- Add people in copy. You have the possibility to multi-select other colleagues to follow your case. They are also copied on email replies and follow-ups from the portal.
Your case will also be visible for them under their 'My cases'.
- Accept Terms and conditions
- Click Register Case to submit the case to DATE®.
You can easily keep track of your cases and your company's cases by sorting by the columns in the table (e.g. 'Status', 'Last updated on') in the overview page.
When a technical expert has replied to a case, the status of the case will change to 'Replied'.
If a DATE case has been registered on a vessel, it will also show on the 'Home' page in the DATE®cases' tile.
